    • CHAP Configuration

    This article introduces how to configure CHAP in the app and how to connect to a Target with CHAP enabled.

    1. Configure CHAP

    Two configuration methods are currently supported: configuring a default CHAP for Targets, and configuring a dedicated CHAP for a specific Target.

    1. Configure Default CHAP

    1. Enable CHAP in Settings, configure the name and password according to the format requirements, and click Save.

      You can optionally enable Mutual CHAP, but the CHAP password and Mutual CHAP password must be different.

    2. Select the Target you want to configure CHAP for, click Edit, enable CHAP under Attributes, and select Default iSCSI CHAP.

    2. Configure Dedicated CHAP

    1. Select the Target you want to configure CHAP for, click Edit, enable CHAP under Attributes, and select Custom.

      CHAP defaults to One-way CHAP when enabled. You can optionally enable Mutual CHAP.
