  • Fygo Sync Feature Guide

This article introduces the basic features of Fygo Sync and how to use it.

    1. Download the Client

    2. Connect to NAS

    3. Login Authorization

After the NAS device is connected successfully, you need to authorize your account.

    Note:

    • Your account name and password are not stored in the client after authorization.
    • If you select a NAS device that has already been connected before, and neither the connection method nor the user information has changed, you do not need to authorize again.

    4. Create a Task

    4.1 Set Sync Rules

    1. Three sync modes are currently supported:

    • Two-Way Sync: The NAS and computer mirror each other, and files on both sides stay fully consistent.
    • Download Only: Only NAS data is synced to the computer. When a file is deleted on the NAS, the computer-side file is kept.
    • Upload Only: Only computer data is synced to the NAS. When a file is deleted on the computer, the NAS-side file is kept.

    2. More Settings - Set Filter Rules

You can define rules as needed to exclude files of a specific size or format.

    Note:

    • tmp and temp are file extensions that are always filtered by the system.
    • You can adjust filter rules later through "Task - Settings".

    4.2 Set Sync Paths

    • Computer file path: Select the folder path on the computer that you want to sync.
    • NAS file path: Select the folder path on the NAS that you want to sync.

After creation, the task starts immediately and begins file synchronization.

    Note:

    • Some folders are not recommended as sync folders on the computer because of system permission restrictions or because they are being used by other apps, such as Windows system folders, the root of drive C, and folders managed by OneDrive, iCloud, or other sync software.

    5. View Tasks

    1. View on the Main Page

You can view the sync progress and status of the task from the task card.
