  • How to Use a Wireless Network Adapter?

    FygoOS supports wireless network adapters. This article explains how to enable and use a wireless network adapter. For verified compatible adapter models, see the compatibility list at the end of this article.

    1. Enable the Wireless Network Adapter

    Log in with an administrator account, go to System Settings > Network Settings, where you can see the connected wireless network adapter. Click More > Enable Wireless Network Adapter.

    2. Connect to a Network

    After enabling, the system will automatically scan for networks in the local area. Click the network you want to connect to, enter the password, and click OK.

    If the network is not found by the scan, or it is a hidden network, you can click Add Manually and enter the network name and password to connect.

    3. Connection Successful

    4. Switch Networks

    Select the wireless network adapter, click More > Edit, open the network list, and click or manually add the network you want to switch to.

    Note:

    After switching networks, the IP address will change, which may cause the current interface to disconnect. Recommendations:

    • If other networks are currently connected, remember their IP addresses for access after switching;
    • If FygoConnect service is enabled, you can access via FygoID after switching;
    • If you and the device are on the same LAN, you can use the Fygo App to scan for devices on the LAN to obtain the new IP after switching.
