FygoOS x86 is now on v1.2.0701
Kernel Technologies
- Fygo’s proprietary RAID acceleration technology optimizes sequential read and write performance for RAID 5 and RAID 6 arrays on EXT4 and BTRFS. This improves the efficiency of storing and retrieving large files such as high-definition videos and images. Compared with FygoOS 1.0, performance has improved by more than 30%. As the number of drives in the array increases, the performance advantage becomes more pronounced, reaching up to 4x the performance.
- Fygo’s proprietary array protection technology is now available. If hardware instability causes a drive to temporarily lose power and disconnect, the kernel takes over read/write requests and maintains normal array operation after the drive recovers, reducing the risk of data loss.
*Note: This protection mechanism is not a substitute for reliable hardware. Please use reliable hardware.*
System Settings
- Added a Hardware Acceleration page under Hardware & Power for centralized management of acceleration devices used for hardware transcoding and AI tasks. Drivers and runtimes can now be installed and configured from one place. Hardware transcoding also supports multiple acceleration devices, which the system automatically schedules and assigns to tasks.
- Fixed an issue where DLNA information was displayed from an incorrect source.
- Added support for displaying authorization information for newly authorized hardware.
Network Services
- Fixed an issue where IPv6 addresses could occasionally be lost when DHCPv6 was in use.
Resource Monitor
- Fixed an issue where average GPU and NPU utilization could be displayed with incorrect decimal precision.
- Fixed an issue where the physical VRAM capacity of some Intel Xe discrete GPUs was displayed inaccurately.
- Updated the NVIDIA GPU name database to recognize additional GPU models that were previously missing.
Files
- Fixed an issue where text input could be interrupted when searching with a Chinese input method in the web interface.
- File uploads via file collection links now support resumable uploads. If an upload is interrupted, it can continue without starting over.
App Center
- Fixed an issue where an app installation could not be canceled immediately after it started.
- Added support for passing the initial style configuration when opening an app’s Web UI.
